OtakuFest is May 17-19th, 2024 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. OtakuFest is South Florida’s newest Anime, Animation, Cosplay, Gaming, Comics, Manga & Music Festival.

OtakuFest is a three-day festival that celebrates anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, comics, and more. You can dress up as your favorite character or come as you are, we aim to be a very inclusive convention. OtakuFest is South Florida’s largest anime convention, but its creator/show-runner Winji Mesadieu has been a part of Supercon (pre-ReedPop) as well as the South Florida convention community for over a decade. OtakuFest expects to bring in 18,000 people over 3-days for its 5th show!

The Miami Beach Convention Center is easily accessible from three major causeways:

  • I-395 McArthur Causeway

  • I-195 Julia Tuttle Causeway 

  • Venetian Causeway 


Accessibility

Accessibility Services:
In accordance with ADA, the Miami Beach Convention Center provides ramp access, restroom facilities, braille elevator buttons, and fire alarms for the hearing impaired.

Animals:
Live animals are prohibited in the convention venue. Service animals may accompany a person with a disability in the venue provided they are harnessed, leashed, or tethered and are wearing their vests. We may ask you what service your animal provides for you. You assume complete responsibility for your animal while at the convention. Emotional support animals are not permitted.


PARKING

The MBCC Campus has a parking garage with 800 parking spaces available for use during your events with a $20 flat fee. The parking garage decks are located on the 4th and 5th level (uncovered) of the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Enter from 1901 Convention Center Drive (West) or from 2000 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (East). For Grand Ballroom events: enter from 2000 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (East). Valet service is available.

Accessible parking spots are located on the rooftop parking garage of the MBCC.

Electric Vehicle charging (EV) stations are available on the 5th floor of the MBCC rooftop parking garage.

There are multiple Municipal Parking Garages near the MBCC:
