Patty Hawkins is an old school otaku who has recently been recognized as the most prolific convention programming host/moderator in the convention world (His confirmation in the Guinness book of world records is currently being processed). He has hosted over 1,500 convention celebrities on physical and virtual stages across a multitude of conventions and platforms.
He is an Equity Actor and was on the original cast at Disney's Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, where he “helped” the Monsters (wink-wink), the Muppet Mobile Lab where he 'helped' Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker (wink-wink) and has 'helped' a certain gold protocol droid from Star Wars speak his lines (wink-wink-wink). He is also the voice of Benny the spider monkey, the official mascot of the Kalahari water resort chain. It is also alleged that he is a 'deep cut' cosplayer that prefers obscure and arcane characters as his subjects to the befuddlement of most and the delight of some.
He is also a founding partner at TyFy Studios in Orlando FL which is comprised of an Emmy, THEA, IAPPA, and Grammy award winning team of audio engineers, sound designers and composers. Arguably Patty's greatest achievement in the otaku world occurred last year over a nice lunch with Star Trek actor William Shatner who asked "Patty...what IS Anna-May?" By the time dessert arrived Mr. Shatner had a rudimentary understanding of manga, anime, sub vs dub, and Golgo 13 (Patty's favorite manga/anime character).
He can be found on most social media outlets @PttyHwkns and is currently working on an ongoing audio drama series set to debut in 2027. In the meantime he continues to talk professionally about capes, swords and ray guns wherever fandom may gather.
