V.B. Kennedy

of_smallblock_V.B.Kennedy.jpg

V.B. Kennedy is a true product of an 80s upbringing where an epic decade of movies and television spurred her imagination. She has always enjoyed telling stories but it was only recently that she decided to commit her characters and stories to paper.

She has written several short stories about a vampire named Pleasant, which can be found in "Pleasant Journey". She also wrote a time-traveling adventure for young adults called "Future Tense". Her most recent creation is a novel titled "Intensity", which is about a female vigilante living in an alternate universe.

When she is not writing, she is either pulling out her hairs or teaching her students. She currently lives with her deranged husband and two wacky kids who seem intent on wearing down the last of her sanity.

Profesone

of_smallblock_profesone.jpg

Profesone is a comic creator, web developer, and father of three. He's created independent comics like Sword Theory and Frontier Graveyard, and his work has been published in Heavy Metal Magazine, Image, and Dark Horse comics. Oh and to answer the question or what is a Profesone, it's my graffiti name when I was in middle school and it's pronounced as "Pro Fes One".

When he was young, he remembers seeing a commercial for “Star Wars: A New Hope” on television. His family often didn't have money to go to the movies, so he would stay up late at night and watch cheesy shows just to catch that Star Wars commercial again. That’s what inspired him to pick up a pencil and start drawing.

He taught himself how to draw by practicing every day, challenging himself to continually improve. Star Wars was what first fueled the fire, but when he discovered comics, he tapped into an endless source of inspiration. At some point, it became not just an inspiration, but his ambition. This is what he was meant to do.
