Our market is graced by special guests from the anime industry, offering fans a rare opportunity to meet their favorite voice actors, creators, and cosplay guests. Engage in insightful panel discussions, autograph sessions, photo ops, and more!

The fun doesn’t stop at shopping and star-gazing. We’ve got a lineup of fun events to keep the holiday spirit high! Participate in anime trivia contests, anime bingo, giveaways, and other holiday-themed competitions.

And what’s an anime event without cosplay? Our costume contest is a highlight of the market. Whether you’re dressed as a beloved classic character or their holiday variant, strut your stuff on our stage for a chance to win exciting prizes.

Holiday Costume Contest

A runway-style costume contest! Come in your best cosplay costume and show off your stuff! The Holiday Costume Competition will be “Runway” style. There will be no pre-judging. Contestants can enter in store-bought or homemade costumes. Register for the Runway Costume Contest at the Cosplay Info Booth in the Main Lobby Area at OtakuFest Holiday Special. Gaming Tournaments

🔥 Get ready to unleash your gaming fury and fight for glory, fame, and $$$! 🔥 You can’t afford to miss the OtakuFest Holiday Special, where we’ve joined forces with Flynn’s Gaming to bring you the most epic gaming showdown of all time! 🚀

Tournament games will include;

This is your chance to flaunt your gaming skills and score some amazing prizes! Just sign up (with a small fee) on the spot at the gaming zone on the second-floor mezzanine of the Charles F. Dodge City Center!

The tournaments will be single-elimination and are hosted by Flynn Arcade's, who will make sure you have a blast and a fair fight.

The Charles F. Dodge City Center is in the heart of Pembroke Pines, the second-largest city in Broward County, and is nestled between Mediterranean-style residences, casual-chic and family-style restaurants featuring international cuisine, and numerous name-brand stores and shopping malls. The city center is a multi-use facility that was built to serve the community by hosting events such as conventions, concerts, meetings, and trade shows, and facilitating local events that will promote civic, educational, and community pride.
